The USS Orleck DD886 Naval Destroyer Museum group was organized to restore the USS Orleck DD 886 and to preserve our heritage of freedom. This beautiful WW II vintage destroyer was built in Orange, Texas in 1944-1945 and has been returned to her place of birth for her final berthing place. The organization is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of this great ship, so our children and grandchildren can learn about the life aboard a U. S. Destroyer and at the same time, learn what their forefathers did to help our nation win the War of all Wars. You may become a member by joining and participating in the decisions being made to create this historical museum. We have six classes of membership available with the following 501 (c) 3 tax free donations: Individual- $15 Individual & Spouse- $25 Family- $50 Bronze- $100 Silver- $250 Lifetime- $500+ Contributions and donations shown on these pages were made directly to the SETWM&HF, and not to any other organization.
